I have a extra 90g tank that I just set up a couple of months ago and wanted to put a couple of volitons in there.
My question is are they more proned to certain diseases and how easy are they to take care of...thanks
My other tank is a 90g reef so I havent really worked with any lionfish.

Thats probally two small for a couple of large lions, some of the dwarfs might be all right. But I have no experience keeping any lions.

i would have to agree, i would only put one in because they get rather large. i have a 13" lion in a 135 and i think its just right for him now.
whatever you do don't feed him goldfish not good for them at all.
vary his diet and you will be fine, use shrimp, silversides scallops and whatever seafood he likes.
here's a pic of mine, got him when he was about 3" 4 yrs ago

Would a FU Manchu be compadable with theres fish
False Percs Mated Pair
Flame Angle
Fire Fish
Boxer Crab
Cleaner Shrimp
The tank is a55 gal, i will take out my damsils if i get the lion.

I have a volitan in a 55 w/ a porky and picasso trig, I know too small, we plan to upgrade. Maybe a dwarf lion would be okay I don't know much about fu manchus. I love my lion though, at first he would only eat live goldfish or guppies(very bad) but after some starving I trained him to eat off a skeewer. They can get the typical diseases (ick, marine velvet ect) but watching your water quality and qting new fish helps of course. I understand they are very hardy.
