Sure ...... as long as the tank is large enough to house both, just be careful through feeding time, you do not want one to accidentally bite the other for that one chunk of food.
Lions will group together, I had a lion get hurt once and the others stayed right with it resting on the rocks, they would not even eat when the one was hurt. Once it healed they were all back to swimming together.

interesting. i agree with everything v-lioness said. they aren't territorial, just hungry.
