Lionfish

Hi, I have a 10 inch Volitan red lionfish. Lately, his horns have been "droopy". The lionfish is currently in a 175 gallon tank by himself. The water parameters are fine, and there is a UV sterilizer on the tank. The fish is eating silversides, and is swimming. Is the fact his horns are droopy anything to be alarmed about? Thanks alot!

Nope, perfectly normal. They will eventually fall off. A lage volitan is truly an impressive creature. Bo

Cool- I didn't know that! Is it just part of the maturation process then? I always looked at intact 'antennae' as a sign of good handling or something...learn something new everyday! :D
