Lions and earthworms

Has anyone ever fed their V.lion earthworms???? It's raining like crazy here and I've got a bunch earthworms crawling aross the driveway. I figure it's not the best idea since earthworms aren't regular ocean inhabitants, but what about as a treat every now and again?

won't earthworms contain whatever fertilizer/pesticide/chemicals that theyve come into contact with in your neighborhood?

I definitely would not try it. Besides, I don't know if they would eat em anyway. I feed my other fish live blackworms and my lion always ignores those.

I tried to feed my lion earthworms, but he just spit it out. He eats about anything too. Even a piece off of a seaweed sheet once. Before I tried it I did read in a book, or magazine cant remember... that you can feed lions earthworms if they are washed off good. Dont know what the nutritional value would be though.

When I saw them, they just got me thinking. Your answers are good enough for me!! Anyway, the stupid neighborhood cat is eating them now. Go figure!:notsure:
