Lions in the reef

My fish died because of high salinty.I fixed it.If I put a little lionfish in my reef tank,will it eat my crabs?I hear lions sre real cool.I see some post were lions eat everything then some were they are great.I dont put small fish in my tankto worry about that.I read that a lion eats crabs in the wild but whe supplied in captivity with live food they are fine.Give input

make sure all parameters are good before adding anything to the tank. how big is your tank? what kind of lion are you looking at? lions are predators and will eat anything that will fit in their mouth small fish, crabs, shrimp. they are a hardy fish. live and frozen food is best but do not feed them fresh water fish like guppies and goldfish because long term feeding can cause liver disease in them. live mysis and brine is good. also lions should be fed every couple days like 2-3 days. they are a type of fish that will eat themselves to death if you let them

I have a volitan lion in my fish only and I keep it well fed for the most part. One thing you'll notice is that once it's full it won't eat anymore. I think if you keep it full, then it should leave things alone. However, they do grow big, so sooner or later it'll probably eat some of your inverts.
