The word around the hobby is that triggers will nip the lions fins till death. Why are there so many people with sucess in keeping clowns and lions--expetially since here the most aggresive???
Please post opp & exp
Thanks

Are you talking about Clown Triggers and Lions?
I would say with that particular trigger your probability is high or fin nipping.

it's not that many people when u consider that alot of the people who keep saltwater fish that aren't on this forum probly try to keep those two and don't tell about how they failed miserably

Some people on this site may be more... advanced in this hobby so to speak, so they take the right precautions so to say. But still, not a good idea to mix the two. It generally doesn't work out about 85% of the time i'd say, and thats a high risk to take...

I have a Spoted Hawiian puffer and it picked my Lionfish to death..I know these two didn't work for me.

Sometimes there are exceptions. My picasso trigger has never picked at my lion. They acually swim together sometimes.

FROM WHAT I HAVE READ...it can work with less agressive triggers like nigers, bluethroat, and humu humu's only if done right but ones like clouns are a much much much higher risk and most likly will not work
