Lions with Triggers

I'm considering adding an appropriately-sized volitan lion to my 150. It has a clown, huma, niger trigger & a couple of eels (snowflake & fibrillated). I've heard that triggers like to nip the wavy fins/antennae of lionfish. Are these guys compatable?

I would never mix these fish. I know, it is often done. But, sooner or later the triggers will become triggers and your lions fins will just be the start of his demise. The triggers not will not just nip fins, they will stress the fish, weaken it, then attack and kill it.

Lions and Triggers do not make good tank mates....It's been done before, but that doesn't make it a good idea.

I agree with the above, however I have had good long term results with lions and a bluejaw trigger, but clowns and adult nigers are a whole different ball game.
