Being far-right is just as bad as being far-left. Anyone who associates themselves with Sarah Palin has issues. The problem I see with his 'philosophies' is it appears he wants to 'Americanize' the world. "Show the world what it means to be American." He even brings up how it took the Miltary to free the Jews from the Germans. So is it his intentions to use military force to 'convince' all other nations who don't agree with 'American Values' that that's how they should run their country? I agree something needs to be changed with how the American political system works today. But I'd rather take a Centrist approach to the problem, instead of forcing either Liberal or Ultra Conseervative principles on the Amerucan citizens.

If I had to choose I'd walk a mile over broken glass to associate with Palin than walk a block on green grass to be with Obama.
Just because the guy was at an event with Palin doesn't mean he share all her views.
He is spot on about the problem with the country. When we keep re electing people like Ted Kennedy, Barney Frank, Alen Spector, Barbara Boxer, Robert Byrd, Strom Thurman etc. who are either too old, incompetent or corrupt to do the job we have nobody to blame but ourselves. Once upon a time we expected politicians to be exceptional people.

I'll agree with you completely about "professional politicians". But Palin? As that guy was talking, I was waiting for Palin to raise her hands up in the air and start screaming, "Praise The Lord! Down with the Evil Liberal."

I don't have a problem with Palin considering what is in the white house right now but if I got to pick I wouldn't want her as president either. I would be pleased and proud to have her as my representative in congress or the Senate. Look past the liberal smears and consider her record. She had how many BS charges leveled against her and not one turned out to have any substance. She nailed members of her own party for corruption and she wasn't just responding to media pressure, she actually exposed them. Those are the kind of people we need running things in DC.

I'm not talking about Palin. Reef was referencing Kennedy, Thurman, et. al. for how long they were able to stay in office. Those are the individuals I term "professional ('career' is probably a better term) politicians".
There's nothing professional about Palin. She's turned into this media darling that is one tick shy of one of these bottom-feeder reality stars. She spins a good tale, but in essence, she is totally clueless regarding the 'hard' issues that face this nation. I doubt very seriously she's as squeaky clean as reef tries to make her out to be. She's been caught with her hand in the cookie jar, but found inventive ways to dodge the legal bullet. I lost all respect for the woman the day she stood at a podium with crib notes scrawled in her palm. People rail Obama for his teleprompter usage, but at least if he gaffs using that, he's no different than any other politician that's screwed up using them. I guarantee you if Palin were able to get into the Senate or House, she'd be making more 'back door' deals that would benefit her than any other sitting Congressperson we have today. You can take that to the bank.

Guarantee she'd make deals? As I pointed out earlier they were a bunch of investigations against her. Either she was squeeky clean or she is a hell of a lot smarter than you libs give her credit for.

Let's go over the request again...

Sorry man, can't accept this response as an answer to the question. It's riddled with personal opinions and there really isn't any substance. Provide proof to back up the claims, or you probably shouldn't be making them. When I say "you," I don't mean bionicarm, I mean the universal "you." It's just good practice in general. Make a claim and back it up or you'll lose credibility.

About as good an answer as you're going to get. Guess I need your definition of "professional politician". The woman may practice politics, but she sucks at it.

I dont think she's ever lost an election. Must be doing something right.
However, we digress.
This isn't about Palin, it's about prager. We should deal with his comments and as I said before he makes an excellent point about the real problem with the country.

Like I said, that whole group swings too far right to be believable. Thier ideologies about how to fix things are somewhat scary. The guy hints about using military force to 'sway' other nations to think 'American'. He also visions a sort of 'brainwash effect' on today's youth. Liberalism= EVIL, Conservatism= GOOD.

I find this comment funny after I stopped to think about it. Stop and look at some of your own view points. On some issues you are very "far-right extremists", on other's you are very "far left extremists"....You criticize the "far right extremist" views and "far left extremist views"...yet on some issues you hold those same views...the same goes with far left views you hold. On each issue you are on the "far" side. I can only think of two issues you're actually middle on.

Your right to be free includes my right to be free from you. Hold your own viewpoints but do not impose them on me.

So if a right winger tells you 2+2 equals 4 you don't believe it?

Right-wingers don't know simple math. They tell you 2+2=4 in front of your face, but then add another 1 to it to benefit their agenda.

Me? Far right?
Half of the posts I've made where you think I agree with Ultra Conservative principles were meant to be sarcastic. I'd shoot myself before being compared to or agreeing with anything Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, or Glenn Beck had to say.

So all of your posts regarding the border were pure sarcasm?

So you're considered Ultra Conservative if you agree with the illegal immigration issue in Arizona? Sorry, but I know several WAY Left individuals who agree with the Arizona law, and something being done about the illegals.
Here's one that I'm sure will get your blood boiling:
PHOENIX (AP) — Mexico is asking a federal court in Arizona to declare the state's new immigration law unconstitutional.
Lawyers for Mexico on Tuesday submitted a legal brief in support of a lawsuit challenging the law.
The law generally requires police investigating another incident or crime to ask people about their immigration status if there's a "reasonable suspicion" they're in the country illegally.
It also makes being in Arizona illegally a misdemeanor, and it prohibits seeking day-labor work along the state's streets.
Mexico says its interest in having consistent relations with the United States shouldn't be frustrated by one state.
Mexico also says it has a legitimate interest in defending its citizens' rights and that the law would lead to racial profiling.
