Little critters.

I was wondering if you really need all of the cleanering critters for a reef. As in crabs, snails, stars, shrimp, ect. Is it just to hepl clean the tank or do u really need all of them. I have seen lists of what others have in there reefs and never seen a lot of them listed. Just curious.

A cleanup crew is definately beneficial in a RT but is not absolutely needed. It's totally up to the aquariast. I personally would not keep a tank without one. A cleanup crew also adds variety and character to any tank.

They are definitely worth their weight in gold, and I love watching just them at times. They add so much to the asthetics of a tank.
