I am moving into a new place and will finally have room to put up a 125. After seeing the fun that can be had with a 37G reef tank, I can't wait to get a tank big enough to really build some cool rock formation and most of all...get a TANG! Anyhow, what I need help with is the equipment needed to do this project.
Let's say that the only think I have are the following:
125G reef-ready tank, stand and canopy (containg 3 - 175W MHs), LR, substrate (not sure if I'm going DSB or aragonite), heater, and grounding probe.
What else do I need? I want to do a sump underneath in the stand, and will be running a good skimmer (suggestions?).
Please keep in mind that I realize this is going to be a lot of money, but this is going to be THE tank for me (at least for now
). I want to know exactly what I need to do for a long-term reef that will be healthy and user friendly (wife helps out sometimes).
