little white bugs?

I have a 6 gal. Eclipse that I started from skrach two weeks ago. I ran the tank for 24 hours before adding 3 lbs. tonga and .5 lbs fiji LR, all is well except for these little white bug looking things. I was thinking sand flees but I can not tell. There is also some brown fuzz growing on my fiji that I dont know what it is. Can any one help?

the brown fuz is probably dietom, it's normall for newly set up tanks. It will eventually go away. I don't know what the little white bugs are.

I have the same thing with the white bugs... Will they hurt any thing ??? Do they go away ??

I call them sea lice and I think they are good

Those bugs are a sign of healty tank acording to saltaquarium.about.com . I wondered the same when i first started. GOOD LUCK!

then that's good if they are "good" bugs, cause I just found 2 of them in my tank. They are kind of cute....LOL I think there might have been more, but I think that my crabs may have eaten the smaller ones.

Those are baby shrimps they are good very good that means water is good :jumping: :jumping:
