I have been searching all over for a species of marine fish that is inexpencive enough to use as feeders for my volitan lionfish.I have been doing alot of research on them anf found that feeding live vs frozen is much better for them although i do feed frozen foods now.I dont want to use fresh water fish as feeders.I have read that fresh water fish dont contain the same nutrients as the marine feeders will due to diet differnces. has anyone found a small and inexpencive enough fish to use yet.like maybe 2 bucks per?or under ??

You might try Octopets. They have saltwater feeder guppies.I think they are $15 for 50 of them and they have 2 different sizes........

but after a bit more research i found that black mollies can be acclimated to salt water and they are the cheepest of brackish fish on the market.iafter aclimating them into salt i will place a couple at a time into the main tank.I went to my LFS and purchased 50 of them at cost
