live or base or both ?

hey,
i has been a long time sence i posted last about my tank i got as a x mas gift. i will try to follow up now 55 gal reef but this is were the rock comes in i have 50 pounds or lr in it now been in sence 12/27/03 when i got the tank but i want more rock now tht i have the money so here is the question.
Live ? 2 boxes of fiji ( 90 pounds ) for 250.00
Base ? 2 boxes or reef rock ( 100 pounds ) for 100.00
Both ? 1 box fiji and 1 box reef for 170.00
that is the question i have waited so long cause of me being home i am constently away so i never got to add fish or rock yet. so if any one have any thing that they can say to help exe. how to stock ( what fish and so forth ) or any thing please let me know.

If the main concern is cost, then go with the base rock.
If you don't mind waiting a year for your base rock to be covered with coraline algae, then save some money and go for the mix.
If you want it up and running as soon as possible, looking beautiful, then buy the best live rock that you can find.
