Live rock and copper

Hi! By the term ‘copper or hypo salinity will kill lr’ will the ammonia go up or it will lose bacteria which will eventually grow back.

I know it will kill it but will it grow back the same way it did after being out of the water for three days during the shipping

LR cannot live thru copper or hyposalinity treatments. LR is still wet while in shippment and, even so, there is plenty of die-off. However, there is enough alive still after shippment to re-seed the rock. With Hypo or cooper treatment, there will be no life left on the rocks. It cannot survive.
