Live Rock and Disease- Carriers or what?

Need Definitive answer- Do live rocks carry disease ? Some have said no - others say yes.
I need to know because we got diseas one time and then the fish died. WE changed the the water thoroughly cleaned tank and put rocks back in and let tank sit for a week. DO these rocks hold disease or what.
NEED help tired of buying fish and them dying on us after two weeks.

Terry is right. The thing here, is to treat your rock as you would your fish in terms of QTing it before it goes into the tank. However, of course, if your tank does not have any fish, then the rock having parasites is not a problem. Still, though, the rock can cause ammonia spikes and can cause prolbems if a new acquisition is placed in the tank. Therefore, you have 2 good reasons to QT your rock.
