Live rock and Ick

Hello,
I have an small 15 gallon tank that I was going to use for a QT tank, well I have an Damsel that developed a nasty case of ick and was going to use copper. Then I realized I have around 7-8 pounds of LR. Can I move the live rock into my Refrugim on my 75 gallon and not transfer ick into my 75 gallon reef tank. What are your suggestions.

No, you can't move the LR into any componets of your display....not and be absolutely safe, that is.
You'll have to place the LR in a rubbermaid holding tank.
Also, I'd suggest using hyposalinity rather than copper to treat ich. It is safer for the fish.

Can you explain the procedure of hyposalinity, probably for the 1000th time and I saw something about garlic in the fish food?
