Live rock changing color

Hi all
Some of my live rock ( closer to the surface ) has changed to a rusty orange colour? Is this normal as my other tank has not had the same thing happen? I know the cycling has only been 2 weeks so wondered if that was the problem. We have checked all the levels and they are all good and should be getting our CUC on Wednesday which I hope will help.
Any ideas anyone?

we will leave it since others have the same questions.
but to answer one a new tank is setup there are several different things that appear from diatom which what we see is the skeletal remains of a single celled organism. then there are several different stages of algae that show up from green to black sometimes before coraline starts to grow and get a good hold on the rockwork.
