Live Rock Dead?

I recently bought a 240 gallon from a guy along with all his equipment. He also gave me about 150 lbs of tonga branch live rock with a ton of purple coraline which had been out of tank for several days. At least 3 to 4 days. (I don't think he had his tank going just the rock sitting in water in the tank.) Anyways I am trying to cure the live rock in a tub and it was all purple when I put it in there and now it has turned green. The ammonia levels are off the charts and I just put it in a new batch of water. Is it too late? Has all the coraline on the live rock died? Should I just pull it out and let it dry out in the sun. I was gonna put it in my 125 that is running now and once I get my 240 up I was gonna switch over. What should I do?

The coraline will come back, but it does sound like it's gone. If it wasn't kept moist at least, the die off would have started within the first day. Often when even curing LR that was kept moist for a couple days during shipment, some of the coraline will bleach or not look nearly as nice but in time it will come back.
