First off, Thank you all for the info on the worm. I removed the only one i see for now.. Ill continue to do so. ok new question. My live rock, i have only had in my personal tank for about 3 days now. Some of the live items have turned a shade of white. for example the purple colored growth on the rock has a little white starting to show. Is this normal? I was informed of die off.. is this what they mean? if this is bad please let me know. my LFS said to bring it back if it started to die. I dont want to wait too long. lighting im using a Power Compact SmartLite. and im putting a cap full of Marine Snow in my tank per day.. Any advise..
thanks
BTW: i just did a water test. PH 8.2 Ammonia is about .50 Nitrite 0 Nitrate about 5

The die off will cause your tank to cycle. The white is either die off or the substance is changing forms. It all natural, just wait it out.

I recommend buying The Reef Aquarium Vol 1. by Julian Sprung. All aquarium owners need to invest in a good reference.
