Live Rock: Does it need to be Qt'd

Hello:
If my hyposalinity works out and after I raise my salinity back to normal levels, I would like to add some more live rock. My question is do I need to QT live rock before I add it to my display tank? I'm thinking yes, in case there is ick cysts on my live rock from the LFS water etc. Thanks in advance.

To be absolutely safe, yes. However, if your LFS does not share their fish tank filtration with the LR tanks, you can be pretty safe with ich coming in on LR.

Does SWF.com have ick free rock (ie it is not with fish)

LOL Well, I don't know. Ask them at info@saltwaterfish.com. You can ask if their live rock tanks share filtration with their fish tanks.
Then, let us know the answer.
