I ordered 20lbs of LR from here a while back. Fiji is much more Dense IME then it use to be 6-8 years ago. Fiji use to be mostly lightweight and nowdays it's VERY hit& miss. The LR I got from this sick had SERIOUS dieoff from it's time in transit and they bulkship it which kinda pisses me off.
I was happy overall after a good cure with the LR I bought and I would buy again if I couldn't find it local. The pieces I got where all medium in size and now the coraline growth in my tank is getting rediuclous. My friend - the LFS that came over couldn't believe how much growth I have on my LR.
So, If it's going into a new tank then just scrub it down good and cycle the tank with the LR. IF it's going into an established tank, I would highly reco that u setup a curing tank as the dieoff could send your amonia through the roof and kill your babies.
