live rock here too early.

I got a good deal on some live fiji rock. the rock has been out of water for 12 hrs. and is dry. it's been in a reef tank for ten years. I'm about 2 weeks away from setting up my 90 gal.fowlr. How can i preserve the live rock for two or so weeks out of a tank?
I set up a rubbermaid cont. with 30 gals. of declorinated tapwater(ro not hooked up yet) salted with instant Ocean, a heater and a powerhead. Am i one the right track? any suggestions'rock will be here in a couple of hours. (80 lbs.):notsure: :notsure:

Just make sure your salinity is where it should be. I don't know how critical it is to have it correct, but would probalby be a good idea to have it the same as what your tank will be.
I keep mine at 35ppm.
