live rock hitchhikers

since im just cycling my tank, is it bad to have snails n critter on the rock, i didnt notice them when i bought the rock, there shells were exactly the same color as the rock, there were like 6 of em on a small rock. should i leave em in there? i dont know what kind of snails they are.

they're Turbo/Astrea Snails.

Hmm... Me too. I got two snails with some live rock I bought at my LFS... I don't know what kind they are, though... a snail is a snail to me!

You have to find out the type of snails they are. Some can be problematic!!! Like the sundial snails for an example, they feed on corals.....But if you go fish only, then you have nothing to worry about.... :happyfish
