live rock in 10g??

I'm getting ready to start up a 10gal F.O. and on another website, that shall remain nameless, they said you could get away with not curing your live rock as long as your tank hasn't cycled yet. They said to jus add it to your uncycled tank and it will cure while the cycle is running it's course. Is this true?? I've had other tanks before but have never added live rock but I know this will really be a plus in keeping a 10 gallons water parms in check, so I'd like to add some. thanx

Yep that is right, but never add any uncured rock to your tank with any inhabitants it it. Good Luck..

after your tank has been set up and is doing good, with live things in it, then if you add uncured rock Thats BAD.

just know it could prolong your cycle so be sure to keep an eye on your levels and don't just assume a month has gone by so you are good....
