live rock in tub

does anyone know how long live rock will live in a rubber maid tub? getting a tank and the guy broke it down two weeks ago. he hes heater and pump but i wonder about how much die of there will be?

Should be fine. You can keep an aquarium in a rubbermaid just as you would in glass if done right. Just only have to veiw it from the top. haha
Might be a slight die off of any photothetic ( sp. ) critters due to no light but bacteria and bio-life and hickers should be OK. just need to feed it a little to keep bacteria, ect. fed. Just smell it and look closely and test too. JME
