live rock living?

I have a 5gal bucket full of live rock and tank water 2/3 full that has been sitting on someone's porch for about a month. Can it be used? Thanks

Well, it may have been LR once, but it certainly isn't anymore. Also, wouldn't water mostly evaporate out in a month?
Yes, you can use the rock if you are know exactly who it belonged to and are certain that it doesn't have copper, contaminents, etc. However, you will have to clean up very good, and basically use it only as base rock, not live rock.

I know the tank it came from and it did not have any treatments or contaminants. However, how do I clean it up? Can't it become live rock once again? Thanks

It will become live again but only after it is an inviornment that has the bacterias in it to seed it. That is why you would want to use it as base rock.
