I have a fish, invertebrae, live rock tank. Except for my 3 anenomes who's tentacles move in the current the live rock looks like a empty wasteland. Besides corals, how can I spice up the live rock.

Do you have good coraline growth?
Things like xenia, zoos, mushrooms, and green star polyps grow quickly and spread over the rock.

Then I suggest assessing your lighting and possibly upgrading and geting some corals in there.

I have pc lighting so I could do some corals.
I also have chocolate chip starfish. Would they eat mushrooms?

I personally LOVE zoanthids. There are so many types that you could really go crazy....all you need to start are small polyp bundles, but from there, with some patience, you could really fill out your live rock to look really nice and very colorful. Mushrooms seem to take over too much for my taste, although ricordia and spotted mushrooms are really nice. I've been limiting my striped mushroom growth but have let the spotted ones really come out nicely. I also picked up a ricordia yuma rock a couple weeks ago and it's really cool looking.
