I have live sand in my 46 gal. tank, but am wanting to add just a little live rock right now approx. 10lbs to get some extra algae, and a little more life for now. Ive never delt with live rock before. I know if theres die-off on it you can get an ammonia spike. If I bought it from the lfs and its supposably cured can I just add it into my tank, or should I put it in another tank for awhile. I have another tank, but am trying to avoid having to set it up.
