Can i use rocks that i find at the beach in my tank.I have no fish in the tank now.If i bleach it and let it sun bake.Will it be ok to put in my tank?? :notsure:

If you bleach it and dry it out, then it won't be "live" rock anymore. All of the beneficial bacteria on the rock will die, and then its just a rock.

Is there any good live rock in the tri state area.Or does it all come from tropical waters?

Just a --- bit for you....
I thought I could save $20 by picking up sand from the keys when i was down there.... long story short it biffed up my tank. Its not worth it. I would say if your a beginner, go to the fish store, pay a little more now, keep learning as you go and go from there...
