Live rock question

Not sure if this would be the right place for this question but thought I would give it a try. I have a 24g aquapod setup with LR and a couple clowns, a cleaner shrimp and some snails. It has been up and running for almost a year now. Last night is crashed. I dont know what happened but at 8p I saw the tank and all was good and this morning all pumps still running my 2 clowns are dead and so is the shrimp..
I was looking to condense these guys into my larger tank but now that this happened I just have the liverock.
My problem is this--should I let the LR dry out and then just reseed it with the other lr? Since I dont know what was the cause of the deaths I really dont want anything transferred but I do want this emptied asap. Any help would be great..

What are your water readings in the tank?
Basically, dried out live rock, is dead rock. I see no reason at all to kill off expensive live rock, unless you suspect that your tank was contaminated from an outside source. Test your water and post back.
