Live Rock question

I am thinking of adding some live rock to my 30 gallon fo tank. If the LR already has coraline growth, do I need special lighting or special additives to the water? Thanks

No special lighting is needed for LR, but actinic may benefit any life that comes with it.
Calcium level should be 400 - 450 for Coralline to thrive (apparently).

i just bought a nice 8 lb piece of LR. I just stuck it in the tank. The coraline is still there. I just have a regular florecent light. Hopefully to be updated for my birthday!
