LFS had some awesome looking live rock from Tonga, I believe. I picked up a few pieces and noticed a bad smell. Is this normal? rock is cured according to owner. Thanks.
If it smells really bad, it is not cured at all. The LFS guy told you it was to make some $$$$, and he did. That means you now have to cure it..........If you put it into your tank in your house , I feel sorry for ya cause it will smell very badly. Cured live rock should have no smell to it.
