Live Rock Turning White

My lr is turning white where i has nice pink an purple coraline,have a 46 bow 60lbs of lr 40lbs of ls tank has been up an running for 5 yrs,have about 8 corals kenya tree different color zoo's xenia plate coral toadstool leather torch coral ,a small hippo tan 2 small percula clowns lawnmover blenny red serpent star bristle star an cold banded shrimp do water changes every 10 days 10gls using ro water wetdry filter uv sterilezer protein skimmer 3 powerheads in tank over 1000gls an hour plus my return from sump lighting is 230 total watts 150hqi is on for 6hrs atinics are on for 8hrs

all test were done using salifert test kits
been dosing with B-ionic 2 part calcium alkalinity but only been using the calcium cause alkalinity is pretty good ,I think thanks

This is just a guess because your numbers look spot on. I have heard that coraline can quit growing, and PO4 may inhibit it. Is there any algae problem in your tank? It is also possible that the leather & kenya are uptaking alot of the CA, how big are they?

No algae problem justed alittle algae in my overflow box for my wetdry,put a snail in there to take care of that,alittle red algae on a few pieces of lr not bad at all,keyna tree is not big or not small,but alot of its branches fell off an are growing at a nice pace in different part of tank,leather is small

I wish my rock would turn white, it's gone brown :thinking:

You think its dieing,other parts of the rock you can see nice coraline coming in,than after a few days it kinds starts to turn like cloudy white ,but it doesnt turn completely white

Just the outer layer.no need to worry.Rock still performs fucntion and most likely it will cover with alge at some piont.
