I have purchased about 30 lbs. of live rock....My question is...Is there any specific way that the rocks should be configured within the tank? Any pointers?
Thanks

So that more flow goes around and through the rock. You do not want any standing water. You don't want to blow the rocks away w/ the powerhead or anything, but you should direct the flow so the rock gets plenty.

When you set them up also make sure they are very sturdy and will not fall if something crawls or bumps on them.

Keep in mind while your aqua-scaping, that most fish (that I've seen) enjoy swimming into caves, and around structures. It gives them something to do all day to keep from getting bored. It's much better than having a plain tank.
Also, some fish like to move around the substrates like sand, and this will cause your rock to shift. So make sure the rock is secure and solid.
I will try to post a picture tomorrow to elaborate on the whole caves thing.
