Live Rock ?

I do not know too much about live rock......I just finished cycling my tank about two weeks ago. I was thinking about putting some live rock in the tank ... would this hurt the cycle of the tank? I would get cured rock. I thought it would be nice to have five or six pieces for a tang and angel to pick at. Advice Please?

All LR will have some die off when added so it will cause your tank to cycle. Know you would hate to do it again but its now or never.

Very true. Usually people cycle their tank with their LR. It's probably a good idea to cycle it first before you start adding your fish. It will save you lots of $$.

I'm cycling mine with uncured LR right now... Could anyone tell me if I should have the lights off?? how long??

Ya I would shut the light off for a week or two with lots of current running over it also you say you are cycling with uncured rock right? you need Live rock to seed uncured rock...cya
