Live Rock

I was thinking (that is trouble) I want to add a piece of live rock to my tank, if it is cured and it is a small piece would it effect my tank. I was thinking of a piece no
longer than 10 or 12 inches. I have a 100 gal. tank with skimmer an uv. wet dry cpr 192.with two fish and a clean up crew.

IN that size tank a piece of rock that small might cause a very small ammo spike if it causes one at all, especially if its cured. No, I think you will be fine. Problems arise for those, for example, that add 30 lbs of rock all at once. Do you have any rock currently? I assume you have base rock in your tank and are attempting to seed it with the live rock, am I correct? IMO, it will be fine.

I do have rock in the tank . I guess I could place the live rock in the middle of it and seed the rest. I never thought of that. Thanks

Wrong, cured rock will(could) have bristle worms.
this is not a bad thing.
most of everything that comes with the rock is good.
except for:
mantis shrimp
bubble algae
aiptasia
could be more on this list. don't know.
and most of these are somewhat easy to fix.
