Live Rock

I just converted form a 30 to a 55,changed cc to pink samoy sand with a yellow tang,cinn. clown and stripe damsels and used water from old set-up, and was wondering if i can add some live rock right away.everything has settled and tank looks awesome.

As long as the rock comes directly from an established setup,you can add it right away..But if you are not sure if the rock is cured or not,then you should only add it a few lbs at a time.Or you should cure it in a seperate container with saltwater and a powerhead for a few weeks till it is cured...Adding a large ammount of UNCURED rock will surley cause the tank to recycle.

thanks Mr Salty, i added 10 lbs of pre-cured rock and i cant believe how the fish went right for it.also it makes the tank look great.i guess ill be adding a few lbs every week.
