Live Rock

We purchased some live rock on [link violation] about two weeks ago. Today when I came home I noticed that their is some type of pink algae growing on the side of the tank and on certain types of the rock. Is this a bad thing does anyone know what it is? One of my fish is also acting alittle wierd and swimming on his side. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!!

Without more background on the fish, tank parameters, etc...there isn't enough info to help. Consider starting a separate thread on the fish question.

Yes coralline algea is just color that is added to the tank just scrape it off the glass were you dont want it. Also I agree need more info on the fish and tank parmas before anaylizing also what type of fish is it? I would post this info in the fish forum you would get more awnsers there as ophiura said.
