I don't *think* so...Stuff will start to die if they get no lights...We have whatever lights came with the tank and we have lr.

that is what i thought, and i had been using the same light in my aquarium too. i just wanted to make sure before it was to late. thanks

the lr will survive, but your coraline, and other things on the lr will do better(or live) with better lights
plus your fish will look better too
