I have about 10# LR and 30 # Lava rock.
What should the light conditions be? So far there is nothing on the live rock, how until I see something, anything? and if so, will it spread onto the Lava Rock.
Thanks

Ok, there should be a lot of stuff growing on the LR if it has been up for that long. Did you let the rock dry out when you took the tank over? As for the lava rock, it will become living if your LR is still alive.

As for critters, they're probably arleady moving into the new rock but if you want the purpal algae to grow, try a product called Purpal Up.
I've heard it works really well.

I don't know what the real name for them is but I mean the tubes, about 40 inches long
I also just looked but the original light fixture in the lid says no more than 2x30w.
After I read through all the other stuff this is probably not enough, or???
Thanks

If you are going for fish only, it is enough. You need to up the wattage when you start to grow other things. Sounds like the lights are regular flourescents.
The lights will not help speed up your cycle process, all you can do there is wait.
