live rock?

so liverock is good coz the bacteria.... bacteria breaks down the ammonia to nitrite then more bacteria break it down to nitrates...
does having lots of liverock reduce nitrates though?

kinda but not exactly it... the live rock house them bacteria that break doun they amonia and thurs nits and all.. so it's not the rock itself but the bcteria... soo... the idea is.. the more rock u have the more it can break down.. but'' the thing is that.. for a given amount of whast .. only so many bacteria can survive off the food supply..so.. even tho u may have lots and lots of rock.. u still have to introduce stuff to your tank slowly to but the bacteria population..
