I can't remember,
what is the rule of thumb for the amount of lr in a tank.
My tank is 46 gallons.
Sorry if this has been asked befor but I tried a search but came up negative with what I want.

They say 1lb to 1.5lbs per gallon. I have 60lbs in my 46 gallon.

It really depends on the rock, some is more porous and 1 pd/g is enough, some is dense so 2 pds per gallon.
I have also heard using a rough volume estimate of 1/3 your tank. Although this seems harder to gauge.
Put as much as you can in and still have room for fish and corals.
