Welcome to the boards!!! The rock from this site is very nice. It will need to be cured. Any rock that is shipped needs to be cured. Keep the ammonia below 1.0ppm. You may have some cool hitch hikers on the rocks.

It absolutely needs to be re-cured if you have live stock already. There is always some die off, during shipping, that will cause a spike.
on anouther website "***" they say their lr wont cause any spike at all and can be added to systems that have been setup would they be bettet to go with for the live rock the shipping is overnighted and is at ur door the next day. how long does it take to get live rock from this site
Any rock that is shipped has die off, unless they send it fully submerged in a tub of water with a portable powerhead and heater in it, which does not happen. Out of respect for SWF, please do not post the name of other sites.

Die off is caused when animals and plants used to living in the water die when they are removed from the water (shipping live rock). The only way to ship rock and not have to cure it is if it is "dead" rock to begin with.
I have to agree with everyone else there is only one company that I know of that ships its rock in water and its so costly its inaffordable for most!! all others will have dieoff and need to cure it so you dont wreck your tank parameters.
