Live Rock ?

Today I went out and bought about 12 lbs of Figi LR Can't wait to find little critters on it.
I was wondering though for a 80 gallon what would you recommend the minimum of LR i should have?
And just because im so excited about this whole tank here are picture of my LR (what can I say i'm a bit of a geek)

That is a pretty rock you got there. When I started, I got a lot of base rock first then went and got all the pretty stuff for the top.
As for your question:
The general rule of thumb for a reef tank is one to two pounds of liverock per gallon.

Have fun landscaping!! Make lots of caves for fish to sleep in.

Looks like a nice piece. Is that sponge on it?? If so the air exposer has killed it and will need to be removed or the cycle for curing it will be longer
