live rock

What can I expect out of putting live rock in my tank. I am going to get about 30 lbs. What does it do, how do you take care of it, etc...

Sounds like you have a lot of Live sand in your tank. the Live rock will give you some critters - but mostly it for the fush to swim around and to create a mini reef base that your fish will enjoy and ocik at for food, and a place for you to put your corals.
