Hello reefers.
I'm hoping to add live sand to my established tank. I have a flat worm problem that I plan on using flatworm exit for. Currently I have crushed coral for a bed and I don't like the way it looks...and my wrasse hates it. So I thought that I would use the flatworm exit, clean the coral bed as they are dying off and then remove it and add the live sand. I'll need to do a big water change due to the exit so any garbage that I release from messing with the coral will be balanced with a water change. My buddy wants me to get the play sand and mix that with the live sand so it's less cash. My concern is how that would affect an established tank. Anybody have any thoughts or advice?
