LIVE SAND ALIVE???

I HAVE HAD MY TANK UP AND RUNNING FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS. I HAVE LS AND 40LBS OF LIVE ROCK. I READ ABOUT ALL THE CRITTERS IN THE SAND THAT EVERYONE ELSE CAN SEE BUT I CANT SEE ANYTHING IN MY SAND. OH AND HOW DO YOU FEED YOUR LS?

Most of the critter in the live sand will only come out at night so get out your mag four cell and light it up. As far as feeding, you don't. They will eat all the detritus that falls down to the bottom. Happy hunting

What kind of fishes do you have in there? Any aggressive sifters and such that may decimate the fauna in the bed? Also, depends on your LR. Where did you get it from? LFS may not have the variety that direct MO does. Generally, you should see life everywhere with the lights on and more without.

You should have the bacteria now. I agree about aggressive fish eating your critters. What do you have as far as fish?
