live sand or not

i know there are many advantages to covering your reef tank with a layer of live sand. does this make it alot more difficult to care for and keep your reef tank clean ?

live sand will produce itself with enough quality live rock, make sure you put the sand in your tank, not just on top of your reef tank

, live sand is very beneficial and will help to feed your tank in so many different ways and requires no care, it will take care of itself and will take care of the rest of your tank
