live sand question

You want to stay away from anything that stirs the sand which in turn adds oxygen and can disrupt the bacteria.
There are also animals that live in the sand bed that eat the good animals.
Don't know enough about the specific species so I'll shut up and let someone else give that info. Figured I'd give my my .02 since it is sunday and you may have to wait a while.
