I am going to the beach tommorow morning and im going to get 30lb of sand directly off the beach to put in my refugium will this hurt anything??

problem with inshore stuff is its typically got a lot more polutants and organics than off shore stuff.
I doubt you would kill anything, unless you got a nasty hitchiker. You very well could induce an algae bloom from the excess organics though. No real experience with it, but thats my educated guess.
